Formula F1 India: 2011 F1 Grand Prix India schedule/timings


This article mentions the schedule/timing of F1 Grand Prix in India with various events to be held on the three days. This is the first time F1 is happening in India so don't miss out and read on to know event by event schedule for all three days in this article.

Now only 1 month is remaining for the Formula 1 Indian Grand Prix to be inaugurated in India. The stadium which will see all this action is the Buddh International circuit in Noida. Let's see the three day schedule of the F1 racing in India. Like other Grand Prix the Day 1 will have 2 practise sessions followed by another practice session. Day 2 will see the qualification rounds and on Day 3 we have the Race. So below described is the detailed schedule for Grand Prix racing in India.

Alongside F1 there will be two supporting races named JK Racing Asia Series and Delhi Championship with MRF.

F1 India GP Day 1: The first day will see practice sessions of Formula 1, JK Racing Series and MRF Delhi Championship which will be followed by the Press Conference at the stadium itself.

F1 India GP Day 2: This day will further boost the excitement level in the stadium when fans will see the qualifying rounds for the F1 racing in India. This is also going to the day for the fans to get the autographs of their favorite racers on the track which is scheduled for 4.30pm

F1 India GP Day 3: The main event "Formula 1 Race – Indian grand Prix"starts from 3.00 pm local time. Before the final event fans will get to see and be entertained by various events namely - JK Racing Asia Series 2nd Race, F1 Paddock Club Pit Lane Walk, F1 drivers' track parade etc.

Day 1 : Friday, October 28 schedule


JK Racing Asia Series (practice): 08:45-09:15;

F1 first practice: 10:00-11:30;

Delhi Championship with MRF (practice): 12:00-12:30;

F1Paddock Club (pit lane walk) 12:35-13:45;

F1 second practice: 14:00-15:30;

F1 press conference: 16:00-17:00;

Delhi Championship with MRF (qualifying): 16:00-16:30

Day 2 : Saturday, October 29 schedule


JK Racing Asia Series (Qualifying): 09:45-10:15;

F1 Paddock Club (pit lane walk): 10:20-10:45;

F1 third practice: 11:00-12:00;

Delhi Championship with MRF 1st Race (10 Laps or 25 Mins): 12:25-12:55;

F1 Paddock Club Pit Lane Walk: 13:00-13:45;

F1 Qualifying: 14:00;

JK Racing Asia Series 1st Race (10 Laps or 25 Mins): 15:30-16:00;

F1 drivers autograph session: 16:30-18:00

Day 3 : Sunday, October 30 schedule


F1 Paddock Club Pit Lane Walk: 10:00-10:50;

Delhi Championship with MRF 2nd Race (10 Laps or 25 Mins): 11:00-11:30;

JK Racing Asia Series 2nd Race (10 Laps or 25 Mins): 12:00-12:30;

F1 Paddock Club Pit Lane Walk: 12:35-14:15;

F1 drivers' track parade: 13:30;

F1 starting grid presentation: 13:40-14:15;

National Anthem:14:46 F1 Race: 15:00
