In the recent five match ODI series between India and England, the visitors will be happy inspite of 2-3 loss in the series. The reason behind this is the result of last two series in India which they lost quite badly. 0-5 result in both those occasions tells all the story of English team in their last two tours. But this time after beating India in test series by 2-1 and the drawing the two match T20Is series by 1-1, England did well in 50 overs game. India on the other hand look dominated in this series but there are few worries for the team in this format of the game as well like the form of the top order batsman.

Star Players of the series

Suresh Raina who is always a very good contributor to Indian middle order batting in limited over cricket proved his worth in the series by scoring four half-centuries in four innings. He also won Player of the Series award. Another Indian who impressed with his performance is all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. He was the leading wicket taker from India with nine wicket and made contribution with the bat also. From England, James Tredwell and Joe Root were good throughout the series. And not forget the contribution of captain Cook and also Ian Bell who was the leading batsman from England side.
