A young left handed opener for Indian cricketer team, Abhinav Mukund born on 6 January 1990. He is playing for the Chennai super Kings franchise in IPL. As far as his domestic details are concerned then he is playing well in India under-19 squad for Tamil Nadu. He is the youngest player in Chennai Super Kings squad. In IPL, he hasn't got chance to play for Chennai but in his first class career, he has an average of around 60 which is consider to be very high as according to the standards of test cricket. He got its first achievement when his talent got appreciated for Indian Under-19 squad tour for Malaysia where he played two matches for India. After that he do not got time to see at his past failures and climb stairs slowly and slowly. He gets its career peak when he scored unbeaten 300 runs against Maharashtra. He along with Murali vijay scored a first wicket partnership of 462 runs in same match. After seeing this performance of Abhinav, selectors made a call to him and directly selected him as a cover up for Gautam Gambhir who is having a injury during IPL.
