India v/s New Zealand, Second Test result - India take series by 2-0

India take the two test series by 2-0 by beating New Zealand by five wickets in the second test of the series. Virat Kohli and Mahendra Singh Dhoni takes the team to the target in the last session of the fourth day of the match. Captain Mahendra Singh was very happy with his teams performance. New Zealand captain Ross Taylor also praised his teams performance. He said after a thrashing defeat in the first test, their team came back well and keep the opponents under pressure. India won the match by 5 wickets. But it was a tough match for India as New Zealand bowlers were on top after taking five wickets very early in the Indian chase but Virat and Dhoni take the game away from them.

Man of the Match and Man of the Series


Virat Kohli become the winner of Man of the Match award for his contribution in both the innings of India. Virat scored a wonderful century in India's first innings which was his second in tests. He also scored calm unbeaten fifty in the Indian second innings. Off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was named as the winner of Man of the Series award for his 18 wickets in the two match series.


Dhoni speaks about Sachin


Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni said he is not worried about the form some of the batsman of the team indicating Sachin Tendulkar. The captain said - "Every time we talk about Tendulkar's form, he comes up with a big innings and I am waiting". He also said there are two way to dealing with pressure either you go for shots like Raina or soak in the pressure like Virat who batted brilliantly.
