Team India keen to bounce back against Australia in 3rd cricket test match at Perth

The 3rd test in the Agneepath India - Australia series will begin on Friday at Perth. The Indian team is looking to bounce back after two losses. The disappointing performance of the top order batting is the main worry for India. Bowlers also will be looking to get better of the Aussie batsmen.

When the third test in the Agneepath India-Australia series is to start on friday, the Indian team still are haunted by the memories of England tour. Repeating another 'England tragedy' is unimaginable for the Team India as well as the cricket fans in the country. The allegations of rift in the team have also affected the team.

Being down to 2-0, India won't be stepping into the field without worries. The wearisome performance of the top order batting has been the problem of the team since the beginning. India failed to cross 300 in the 3 innings out of 4 they played. Although they scored 400 in second innings of Sydney test, it went to waste as they were beaten for an innings and 122 runs. Apart from Sachin Tendulkar, none has showed consistency in performance. Nevertheless, Sachin could not convert the good starts to the long anticipated hundredth century or bigger. The over expectations of the fans also have made him anxious.

There is a strong proposal that Virat Kohli should be replaced by the in-form Rohit Sharma. Virat has continuously failed in Test cricket. If things go that way, Rohit is very likely to make his Test debut after 5 years of waiting. VVS Laxman and Rahul Dravid have also started to face the stones.

As the bowling is concerned, Zaheer Khan has done well. Umesh Yadav did well in the first test. But Ishant Sharma and R Ashwin have not been able to live upto the expectations. Although Ashwin contributed a little with bat as he is the second highest run getter for the team with 143 runs behind Tendulkar who has made 226 so far

The WACA pitch in Perth is full of bounce and speed. The pacers will get more assistance than usual. It will be a Himalayan task for the Indian batting lineup which crumbled before the Aussies bowlers in previous games.
On the other side, Australia too have a bit of worries. Nathan Lyon is likely to be replaced by experienced pacer Ryan Harris. Despite the unimpressive performance in the previous games, Shaun Marsh will be getting another chance. Fast bowler Pattinson, who was instrumental in two wins, will be going out due to an injury, a breather for India. But the excellent form of skipper Michael Clarke, Ricky Ponting and Mike Hussey has increased Australia's confidence. Their bowlers are also looking very good.

The Indians will have to shed blood and sweat to pull back, undoubtedly.
