Hopkins Architects, Expedition Engineering, BDSP and Grant Associates are the designing team for Velopark. BMX Track the Cycling Venue for 2011 London Olympics is located at the northern end of Olympic Park. The venue will be hosting Track Cycling, BMX, Paralympic Track Cycling. Handball Arena is an attractive new and permanent indoor venue for handball and Goalball events at 2012 London Olympics, which will be hosting Handball, modern pentathlon and Paralympic goalball. The venue is located in the west of the Olympic Park. Handball games will be hosted up to quarter finals and the semifinal and finals will take place in the Basketball Arena. After the games are over the venue will be used for multi sports activity and will be used for athlete training and will also host small to mid scale events. Sources says that the Handball Arena will be the only permanent indoor venue which will be retained at Olympic Park. After the completion of Handball competition the venue has to get ready within 48 hours to host Modern Pentathlon Fencing events. It has the capacity to hold 7000 spectators.

Hockey Centre - London Olympics 2012 Hockey Venue


Hockey Centre is a new but temporary venue located in the Olympic Park which will be hosting Hockey and Paralympic Football. Stanton Williams the architect designed this arena and engineered by Arup. The venue has two hockey pitches one for the main competition with spectator seating, having capacity to hold 15,000 spectators and another one for warm-up, with seating capacity of 5,000. The Hockey Centre Venue for Hockey events at London Olympics 2012 will be moved to the north of the Olympic Park after the games, and will be joined with Eton Manor.

Horse Guards Parade - London Olympics 2012 Venue for Beach Volleyball


Horse Guards Parade is the Venue for Beach Volleyball which is located in Whitehall, in the heart of London which is a stone throw away from Buckingham Palace the Prime Minister's official residence in Downing Street. The Lee Valley White Water Centre venue is a new and permanent venue located 30kms north of the Olympic Park has two courses one for training with 160m and one for competition with 300m.
